North High School

Mission: Every student has the right to an education where they can thrive.

Vision: We must create an equitable learning environment at North High where students are safe, valued, connected and challenged.

Open Lunch Expectations

As you know, we have offered a new open lunch program this year. It is something students have long been asking for and is an exciting new privilege awarded to our upperclassmen. However, for us to keep this program available, we all have to make sure expectations are met. We currently have a partnership with St. Marks' Church that allows our students to use their parking lot when driving to school. This week, a large amount of food wrappers and trash were left in their parking lot. We need your help reminding students of these expectations:

  • Students must have a completed request form on file to participate in open lunch
  • Food and drink cannot be brought back into the building
  • A parking permit is required for all student parking in North or St. Marks parking lots. Those parking in the lots without a permit, will be ticketed.
  • Students must display responsible behavior and safe driving in the parking lot
  • Students must properly dispose of trash

Please help us preserve and protect this awesome new opportunity for our upperclassmen. Individual failures to follow these expectations may result in you losing this privilege.

Please contact Mr. Reynolds if you have any questions or concerns.
