PSA: Who Will Lead?
Kayla White & Nakendrick Clark
"And we are now men, and must accept in the highest mind the same transcendent destiny; and not minors and invalids in a protected corner, not cowards fleeing before a revolution, but guides, redeemers, and benefactors, obeying the Almighty effort, and advancing on Chaos and the Dark. . ." -Ralph Waldo Emerson.
The time has come for our youth to be different, and to be remembered. Being mediocre means compromising your future to mirror someone else's behavior. Why not be different? Why not be the first to start a new trend? It's not too late...
"We Must Be Leaders, So We Can Advance Humanity."
"If you are not willing to work you have no future, no hope." Live a life that speaks for itself, and does not need validation from peers. Your willingness to create a better life will lead to a lifetime of happiness and success. To become a better person overall, it is imperative that we first take a close look at who we really are and not what society has forced us to be. Embrace everything you love about yourself, and the things that you don't like, work on them until you see the improvement that pleases YOU! We must learn that everything isn't about us, so another step to becoming a better you would be to get out in your community and help the less fortunate or try being kind to a stranger. Go to your city's local shelter and help serve dinner, or simply smile at someone you don't know.
