Body language is a type of way to communicate with others nonverbally.
Why is it important?
It's important because some people are deaf meaning that they can't hear. They communicate by using sign language which is a type of hand gesture.
How is it used?
Its being used by expressing behavior such as facial expressions. But it can be also be expressed with your whole body.
For example finger tapping means that the person is impatient or tired of waiting. Arms crossed in chest can either mean they are being defensive or they disagree with someone's opinion or action. Clenching fist and teeth means that person is angry.
