Lincoln Bulletin

As the weather is warming up the sense of excitement for summer fun is evident. This week my newsletter will be compiled mostly of photos from the week. We had a wonderful field day coordinated by Ms. Navis and many many parents--THANK YOU!! I know parent acknowledgments are on our attached PTO newsletter. Thank you very much, without the parent support our fun field day would not be a success.

I am also highlighting photos below of several experiences our primary students have been involved in during the past few weeks. Thank you to our classroom teachers Ms. Harmon, Ms. Klotz, Ms. Gilmore, and Ms. Hola who have coordinated varying professionals to visit and talk about their careers.

This week you should have received an informational flyer for our upcoming writing celebration. This Wednesday students will showcase their writing from 9:00-10:00. We need to give badges to all those who are attending, including extended family. If you are not in the system, please make sure that you bring your license with you. You can even come Monday, Tuesday, or Wed. and have it in our system ahead of time so we can pre-print your badge and then you will not need to wait in line.

Please arrive at about 8:45 if you need to go through the process. If you already have RSVP'd and are already in the system, arrive at 9:00 to walk down to your classroom after picking up your badge.

We had our third-grade field trip, a walking tour of St. Charles where students lead the learning and spoke as the experts of the historical stopping points in St. Charles.

Message from Secretary

Registration paperwork for the 2019-2010 school year is now past due to the office. If we are missing this paperwork your child should be bringing home a gold-colored 2nd notice reminder today. This is separate from school fees, which is paid through Pushcoin. If you know that your child will not be returning to Lincoln School for the next school year please call the office.

School Supplies

Our school supply list for next school year is now available on Lincoln’s website. For your convenience we are again offering School Tool Box to help with most of the items on your child’s list. When ordering online please order for the grade they will be in NEXT school year.
