Welcome Scoggins Band Families!
I hope everyone has had an outstanding and restful summer. It's hard to believe that school is starting up in just over a week, but ready or not here it comes!!

BAND REGISTRATION MEETING TUESDAY, AUG 20
- Our mandatory Band Registration Meeting is Tuesday, August 20th from 6:00-7:00 PM in the Scoggins Cafeteria. We will be going over some important information in the band handbook, talking about private lessons, explaining how to use CHARMS, going over the fees that are due, and much more!
- This is a crucial meeting and will be very helpful for starting the school year off right! At least one parent per student must attend this meeting. This meeting is for every single member of the Scoggins Band, grades 6,7,8. If you have an unavoidable conflict, please let a director know ahead of time.
This year in an effort to "go green", all our Registration forms will be online. Please fill out the Registration Form below before the meeting. Here is the link to the Band Registration Process: https://tinyurl.com/ScogginsBand19
- Each family will need to be prepared to pay for their Band Registration Fee by the meeting. The details are in the Registration form. Please be sure to bring cash or checkbook to the Registration Meeting. You can also pay through Charms. Online payment for Band Registration can be done at any time prior to the meeting.
- Be sure to contact Mr. Davis if you need financial assistance. We are here to help!
1st Day of School
- You will need to have purchased your band supplies for this year and rented your instrument (if applicable) as soon as possible. If you are in need of another copy of your child's specific supply list, please see the band website: http://scogginsband.com
- If you rented your supplies at our information meeting in May (beginner band only), you will want to contact the music store to ensure they plan to deliver to us at Scoggins. We have some already as well, so if you'd like to check and see if your child's instrument and supplies are already at Scoggins, please contact a director.
- Students will not need to bring their band instrument or band supplies on the first or second day of school.Instead, they will need them for the first time on Monday, August 19.
- If you have any questions about supplies, please don't hesitate to ask as we know this can be new and confusing!
