M3 Introduction
#1. Complete the Module 3 Pre-Test. Take the pre-assessment quiz to establish how much about our topic you already know. You are required to take this pre-assessment, but don't worry. It does not impact your grade!
#2. Review the glossary and any vocabulary practice. You will be required to know the terms included for the post assessment at the end of the module.
#3. Begin lesson 1 by reviewing the notes to learn about the sensory system. Review the information in the presentation.
Please let me know if you have any questions! Have a great day!
Today in the assignment you will begin Module 3 on Sensation and Perception. In my opinion, this is one of the most facinating modules in the course. Part of Sensation and Perception is the study of our senses. One of which is sight. Did you know that colors can have an effect on our mood? Did you know that marketing executives use color as a ploy to get us to purchase their products? Did you know that according to some experts a persons favorite color says a lot about their personality?
In the Getting to Know You survey I asked each of you to share with me your favorite color. According to psychology, color preference says a lot about your personality. Check out some of the claims below~
Orange: You are optimistic, energetic, and creative
Blue: You are calm, peaceful, and friendly
Red: You are confident, determined, bold, and expressive
Black: You are artistic and sensive and you like to keep details of your life private.
Green: You are affectionate, loyal and you have no trouble speaking your mind.
Yellow: You enjoy learning and teaching others.
