Distance Learning Updates and Announcements, August 28, 2020
Message from Principal Ghereben
Instruction of core subjects began this week, and we held our first Virtual Back to School Night!
Thank you to all the families who were able to attend the live sessions with their classroom/grade level teachers. If you were not able to attend, you may still view the Principal's Message of Introduction, and all the grade level/classroom presentations on our school website HERE! Proctor teachers and staff are so thankful to have such a supportive community of families willing to partner with them throughout our time in Distance Learning. We appreciate all the feedback (positive and negative) we have received, as we are always trying to adjust and improve our virtual world of instruction. Thank you for your patience and grace as we navigate these uncharted waters together! We promise, it WILL get easier!
To better support you, I am available via email, phone call or video chat. However, I have set aside office hours on Thursdays from 3:00pm - 4:00pm. Please feel free to make an appointment! In addition, our office is open and Mrs. Kwan and Mrs. Dugan are on site Monday - Friday (8:00am - 4:00pm). Additionally, teachers also have office hours every Friday! Please reach out to them and schedule an appointment as you need additional support or help!

Show your commitment to staying and standing united! Whether you are new or returning, virtual or distance learning, we can be united on one front; equality for all! Every #ProctorUnitedAgainstHate shirt sold will go towards cultural educational and training material for Proctor Elementary School. During circumstances of division, unity binds our community. Please support this amazing effort by your PTA by purchasing shirts for your family and spreading the unified message of equality.
Does your passion go further? You may sponsor a shirt for a Proctor student who may not be in a position to purchase one for themselves. For every sponsorship, your PTA will provide a shirt to a Proctor student that has shown interest in having a shirt of their own.
