OFF TO A GREAT START!

We wanted to give a HUGE "THANK YOU" to all of our amazing students who have made the start to this year so wonderful! With all the unknowns and new challenges, we weren't sure what to expect! But, thankfully, kids have been great about wearing masks, cleaning, and "buying in" to our efforts to maintain a safe learning environment! WE ARE ONE!


Let's continue to be "ALL IN" as we work to slow the spread of COVID-19 here in our school and community! Please keep your masks on, and be diligent in your hand washing! At lunch, let's work to social distance better. We can do this!

FALL SPORTS

This fall, DFJHS will have a Cross Country team (for both boys and girls) and a Girl Tennis team. All students of any grade are welcome to participate! Here is the information you need to know:


Cross Country:

-Information meeting on Tuesday, August 25th right after school in the Auxiliary Gym.

-Practices will begin on Wednesday, August 26th. Practices will be daily from 2:40-3:40pm


Tennis:
-Information meeting on Wednesday, August 26th right after school in Mr. Francis' room (27).

-Practices will begin later this week.

LUNCH WORKERS

Our Food Service Department is in need of students who are willing to help as LUNCH WORKERS for the coming school year. With COVID restrictions, the need is greater than it has ever been! Students willing to help each day will receive FREE LUNCH each day!

We are still looking for students in "B" and "C" Lunches. If you are interested in helping, please contact Mr. Thompson at bart.thompson@nebo.edu.
