Our reading strategy this week will focus on making inferences and the author’s purpose/point of view. This month we will be focusing on non-fiction conventions. We will review visualizing (making mental images), making predictions, and making connections. Our vocabulary words are argue, jostled, bulged, labored, command, and wary. We will work on learning homophones. We will write information chapter books in writer’s workshop.
