"Love First, Last, & Always"
The Christmas Season has just come to a close and before we know it, we will be looking towards Lent and Easter. We are all very familiar with both the Christmas Story and the Easter Story. But there is so much more for us to know about Jesus. Between Jesus' birth and death, He lived a rich, powerful life.
Jesus wants us to get to know Him even better. He wants us to know parables He told, miracles He performed, and the sacrifices He made, and ultimately how much He loves us.
Just like in any relationship, we need to spend time with the person we are getting to know. Consider getting to know Jesus by reading the Gospels. Find out about Jesus’ life, the example He set for us, and the way He interacted with others, and how greatly He loved.
Open your bible. Deepen your relationship with Jesus. You won’t be disappointed.
Inspired by reflections from Deacon JD Carmichael, OLPH Parish, January 19th, 2020.

EICS Board Highlights
Try Math talk with your child. It is simply talking to your child about the math that they experience.
Friendly Numbers:
Strategy Explained: Students add to or subtract from one of the addends to make an easy number to add. Example: 23 + 48 = ? we know 48 + 2 = 50 (round)
So 23 + 50 = 73
73 - 2 = 71 (fix) So 23 +48= 71
