Activity: Building Resiliency
Instructions:
Discussion:
- How does it feel when you make a mistake on something you’ve been working hard on?
- What are some things we can do when we get upset about our mistakes?
- Can mistakes ever be a good thing?
- Explain to students that sometimes what we think is a mistake can actually help us come up with new and better ideas.
Distribute the activity sheet and instruct students to make new pictures using the lines provided. This can be done whole group on the whiteboard or independently.
