Kings Manor Families,

I am humbled and honored to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal at Kings Manor Elementary. I am looking forward to working with our dedicated staff, parents and community partners on our journey to excellence.

After graduating from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana I began my teaching career in Aldine ISD. During my time in Aldine ISD I taught both second and fourth grade and served as team leader and new teacher mentor. During this time I obtained my master’s degree in Educational Administration from Sam Houston State University. I then transferred to Kings Manor Elementary where I have been working hand in hand with our students, families and community partners since 2018. At KME I served as a second grade teacher before transitioning into a leadership role as Student Success Coach.

My husband Kirk and I reside in the Kingwood community where we enjoy spending time with family and traveling together.

It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where staff, parents and families are on the same journey to reach, inspire and achieve academic, social and emotional excellence to prepare our students for the reality of tomorrow.

We still have two more Passport to Summer Reading events this summer at Slim Chickens, located at 30255 Loop 494. During these events, our KME staff members meet up with students and families to read a book together. Each student in attendance will then get to select a book to take home. We would love to see you there! The dates are below:

We invite you to join us for a Popsicles with the Principals meet and greet opportunity. Get to know KME's new Principal and Assistant Principal and beat the heat while learning about campus and grade level procedures. Hand in hand, together we can!

Registration for new KME students will be July 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at KME, and July 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at KME.

Please note that registration must be completed PRIOR to our Meet the Teacher event in August in order to have your child placed in a classroom in time to meet his/her teacher. If this process is not completed prior to, your child will not have a teacher assigned when they arrive to Meet the Teacher night.

Returning Student Registration

Parents or guardians of returning students can complete online registration by utilizing Skyward's Family Access System to enter or verify student information for registration. If you do not have your username, haven't received a reset email, or have problems entering the system, contact your student's campus or call 281-577-8615 or email PEIMS@newcaneyisd.org. Upon completion of online registration, you will receive instructions if you are required to provide any further documentation, such as proof of residency or immunization records. For individuals who may be unable to fully access the online registration system, you may register in person. New Caney ISD provides kiosks to assist parents or guardians with the registration process.

Online registration will open for the 2022 - 2023 school year in mid-July. We will notify parents of returning students via Remind when the registration has opened online.

Please make every effort to complete registration for your child prior to Meet the Teacher night to ensure your child is placed into a class and you receive your child’s teacher's name and room number prior to our Meet the Teacher event.

All Meet the Teacher night attendees will receive an email from your child’s new teacher prior to the event so you will know your child’s teacher and the room number.

Please enter through the front doors of the school for our Meet the Teacher event.

Any student who has not completed in person/ online registration prior to Meet the Teacher night (registration details above) will need to attend Student Registration in the gym on August 4th. Enter & Exit through the exterior gym door into the parking lot. Please note that this event is completely separate from Meet the Teacher night.
