Reminders...
Here are a few important reminders to review.
1. Students should be dropped off between the hours of 7:20-7:50.
2. Students will only be sent home the designated way that parents have signed them up. Any changes in transportation must be sent to teachers in written form. No DOJO messages for transportation please. Also, no changes may be phoned to the office after 2:30.
3. Breakfast is served until 7:50. Please make sure to have your child here in time to eat each morning.
4. If your child is sick with a fever of 100.0 or higher, they must be fever free without the aid of medication for 24 hours before returning to school. Furthermore, if your child has been vomiting or had diarrhea, please keep them home.
5. All vehicles are required to display a YELLOW CARLINE TAG from their rearview mirror during afternoon dismissal. Please leave this hanging until your child is in the vehicle.

- Students brought home a form for parents to enroll in the PowerSchool Parent Portal last week.
- Once you begin the process you will have to verify your email address.
- In our experience many times the email will go to SPAM so please check your SPAM folder.
- If you chose the tab labeled Grades and Attendance on the left you can view your child's averages and combined attendance.
- If you chose the tab labeled Class Assignments on the left and choose Q1 or S1 you can view each of your child's assignments and their grade.
- All other tabs have not been updated in the PowerSchool Portal yet.

Attendance reminders....
- Students may have 7 parent excused days per year.
- Students may have 7 excused check-ins or check outs with parent notes per year.
- Students must provide an excuse within 3 days of returning to school following an absence.
- Makeup work must be completed as soon as possible after the student returns to school but no later than three days after returning unless specific arrangements have been made by the teacher.
- Students that miss 7 days or less (excused or unexcused) will receive an exam exemption at the end of each semester. (Covid related days are not included in the 7 day count.)
JUST A REMINDER.....
If your child is sick please call Nurse Valarie to report it and stay home.
If you child is well come to school.
Please monitor your student daily for the following symptoms:
● Fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion/runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
If any one of these symptoms are observed, isolate immediately, seek medical care
and contact your school nurse.
Please report a COVID-19 positive diagnosis to your school nurse.
COVID-19 positive and/or symptomatic exposed individuals must meet the following criteria before returning to school/work:
● Must be isolated for at least 10 days after symptoms first appear
● Must be fever free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications at the end of the 10 day period
● Improvement of all other symptoms
