Islam beliefs-Muslims monotheists, which means that they believe in one God. Muslims believe that all three religions worship the same God. The Five Pillars of Islam is most basic acts of worship for Muslims the Five Pillars of Islam provides general commands to perform these 5 duties 1.wash their hands three times. 2. rinse their mouth three times. 3. rinse their nose three times. 4. wash their face three times. 5. wash arms three times 6. wipe their head one time. 7.wash their feet three times right foot first then the left foot both three times.
Islam traditions-Members of all three faiths are monotheists, which means that they believe in one God. All three religions trace their origins to Abraham. Abraham is the Muslims god that they worship dawn, mid day, afternoon, sunset,and night time. Muslims believe that all three religions worship the same God.
Places of worship/ worship leader-Muslims go to the Mosque where they pray five times a day dawn, mid day, afternoon, sunset,and night time. When the Muslims go to the mosque they have to 1.wash their hands three times. 2. rinse their mouth three times. 3. rinse their nose three times. 4. wash their face three times. 5. wash arms three times 6. wipe their head one time. 7.wash their feet three times right foot first then the left foot both three times. Pope calls himself Muslim leader.
Islams Holy Book- Qur’an is the holy book of Islam.
Holidays-There are two official holidays in Islam: Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha. Eid Al-Fitr is celebrated at the end of Ramadan (a month of fasting during daylight hours)
Holy Places-The Sacred Mosque is a large mosque in the city of Mecca , Saudi Arabia and the largest in Islam. It surrounds the Kaaba, the place which all Muslims turn towards each day in prayer. (Considered by Muslims to be the holiest place on Earth.)
