OLVCS Updates
June 10, 2021
Happy Last Day of School!
It has been quite an eventful year, full of learning and fun here at Our Lady of Victory Catholic School. While it is clear that Our Lady has blessed each of us at OLVCS during this school year, I think everyone--teachers, students, staff, and parents alike--are all ready for a well deserved break.
Below are a few last week of school announcements--including information about our school award winners, summer office hours and how you can help us promote the continuation and expansion of the EITC and OSTC programs, which are vital for some of our school families.
Have a wonderful break!
Taking on the heart of Jesus,
Chad Packer, MEd
Principal, OLVCS

OLV 2nd graders Raise the OLV Flag to Celebrate Their Persuasive Writing Skills
As part of a writing unit, Mrs. Sharon Stec’s second grade class learned to steps of persuasive writing and put to their new skills into practice in writing out reasons why OLVCS needs a school flag. Their finished work was proudly displayed in the hall way outside the class.
As it happened, Mrs. Cindy Kolarik, the OLVCS Outreach Coordinator, stopped and read the students work.
“I was so impressed and moved by the student’s work," said Kolarik. "Their writings were well thought out and did an amazing job of explaining what our school is all about. After I left work that day, I stopped by the local UPS Store and ordered a school flag."
Over the summer, the flag will be raised for all our community to see.
Don't Forget To Settle Up Your Student's Lunch Account Balance
All negative balances must be paid on or before the end of the lunch period Wednesday, June 9th for grades K-7. All account balances, either positive or negative, will be carried forward to the next school year.
Families of 8th graders please contact Mrs. Meckley (meckleyc@olvcs.org) for a refund or transfer of funds from your student's OLV account to a sibling’s OLV account. Funds cannot be transferred to a high school lunch account. Refunds will be sent via mail.
