Dismissal Procedure
For those who pick-up students: We ask that you please pull ahead as far as possible to get cars out of the road. It is possible for vehicles to pull all the way to the end of the handrail/edge of the building. This will allow for more cars to be in the lot. Additionally, with the colder weather, it is possible for students to stand inside the building and watch for you from either door 6 or 7. Thank you for your attention to this as it allows for increased safety for our students.
After-School Support
We are offering after-school support on Tuesday and Thursday until 4:00 pm. Please check the Daily Bulletin on our website for availability each week.
Students Leaving During the Day
We ask that parents contact the office if they are going to picking their child up from school early. This will ensure that an adult is aware and that we have accurate records related to attendance. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
REMINDER: There is No Parking in Front of the Building from 7:30-8:30 AM & 2:30-3:00 PM
This will allow morning drop-off to go more smoothly and bus parking for dismissal. If you have an early morning meeting scheduled, please park in the west (student) lot. If you need to pick your child up early from school, please call the office to let us know which lot you will be parked in (west lot/student parking lot or south lot/staff parking lot) and we will send your child(ren) to you. (Remember, buses can begin pulling up in front of the building as early as 2:30pm.) Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this.
Viking Care Center Help is Available
Winter is here! The Viking Care Center was established as a way to give students and their families help by providing items that are needed. We currently have clothing, including some outerwear, hats, and gloves, shoes, toiletries, some food items, and some laundry products available at the school. Please have your child talk with someone here at school or feel free to contact the office about the needs your family may be facing. We would love to help!
