Benfield Family Newsletter
January 13, 2023
Greetings Benfield Families!
While January has brought us mild weather so far, there may be a chance that inclement weather will occur this school year, bringing the potential for a synchronous or asynchronous virtual instruction day. Please be sure to remind your children to keep their chromebooks fully charged and working. In the event of school closure, there will be one of three scenarios communicated to families:
1. Asynchronous Instruction - children will log on to Brightspace to find activities to complete on their own. There will be no live teaching.
2. Synchronous Instruction - children will access a Google Meet link in their Brightspace account for instruction. Benfield teachers have communicated more detailed information to their families about the class-specific schedule.
3. School Closure - no asynchronous / synchronous instruction.
* More information can be found here.
Lost and Found
We have accumulated many lost and found items that are on a table in the foyer. Please encourage your child to check this table for their belongings. We will also have this table open during the winter concert. We will donate all leftover items by the end of this month.
