It's a VIRTUAL ORIENTATION and OPEN HOUSE!
Hello Cardington Middle School Families!
We are so excited for the start of the school year! The Middle School teachers have been at school working hard and we are ready to see you! I hope you are as excited about the start of school as we are!
In light of the current situation, there are certain safety protocols and procedures we have to follow as we return to the school buildings. In order to prepare you for the changes this year, we have created an orientation video. If you have questions or are feeling a little unsettled, don't worry! The entire Middle School staff is here to help. If you have questions or are unsure of something - please ask. All of the staff members will be here to guide and help you.
I hope you enjoy the videos! I can't wait to see you next week!

Some Familiar Faces
Please Conduct a Health Check Before Sending your Student to School
If your child has a temperature of 100.4 or above, they should not attend school
- Have a persistent new or worsening cough
- Have shortness of breath
- Have difficulty breathing
- Have new loss of taste or smell
If your child has more than one of the following symptoms, please keep them at home.
- Chills
- Rigors/feeling of cold and shivering
- Myalgia/muscle pain
- Headache
- Sore Throat
Conducting these health checks and keeping your student home when they aren't feeling well will help us stop the spread of disease. We want to continue to serve students on campus. Please look out for each other.
Things to Remember
Students are able to enter the building at 8:05 a.m.
Masks are required: Students must wear a mask in the building.
Mask breaks will be scheduled throughout the school day.
Pick Up/Drop Off: Please enter by the pool, turn left and pull in front of the Middle School doors. Please pull as far forward as you can. Students should exit the passenger side of the door. This new pick up/drop off procedure should keep traffic from backing up onto Chesterville Rd.
Single Entrance/Exit: The front Middle School doors will be used as the entrance for the Middle School. Students getting picked up or dropped off must use this single entrance point.
Please contact the Middle School with any questions. We are in this together and very grateful we are able to attend in-person!
