Super's "Aces in Places" - February Edition 2023
“Love. Love will keep us together……!” Captain and Tennille made a special song with these lyrics. —--February brought about LOVE in many fashions. We had deliveries from different organizations at HJSHS. We had a BIG Valentines Dance and crowned Mr. and Miss Sweetheart at East Elementary and Stigall had a Valentines’ Day party along with a Sweetheart Dance for students exhibiting good behavior. We continue to address the 3rd Grade Retention Act needs. We appreciate the extra community tutoring from Tom O.E. Stigall Ethnic Library and Museum members on Saturdays. Black History Month celebrations were PHENOMENAL! Each school tailored their programs to meet the diversity of their staff and students. All participation was well received. The Junior class had a productive day with ACT prep class at the Medical Center all day! Thanks to Dr. Keith Taylor for sponsoring the lunch for that day—PIZZA PIZZA! So,----Let’s keep this train rolling because we are headed in the right direction. Thanks for all you are doing and have done. You are appreciated!!!!!!!! See all the highlights from the district inside!
