Scholastic Book Fair
The Book Fair starts next week, and our Croce Cheetahs are excited! Worried that your student might lose cash that is sent to school with them? The Scholastic eWallet is a digital, cashless way to pay for your child's books! It's easy to set up, convenient to use, and fun to share with friends and family. To get started with eWallet, go to Croce's Book Fair homepage and follow the directions. After the fair, any unused funds left over on your child's eWallet will be converted into a digital gift card that never expires.
If you'd like to support your child's teacher at the Fair, consider donating to their eWallet. Each teacher is setting up an eWallet in order to shop the Fair and buy new and exciting books for their classroom library. For more information, reach out to your student's teacher or view the list of Staff eWallets HERE.
Lastly, remember that you are always able to shop the Book Fair online and have books delivered to your home. Online shopping begins this Friday, 2/25 and runs through 3/10.
Thank you and happy shopping!

Spring Conferences
Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences are just a few weeks away and your child's teacher will be contacting you, if a conference is necessary.
Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences are just a few weeks away. They differ from those offered in the Fall in that they are not scheduled for every student in the class. Your child's teacher will schedule a conference if he/she has concerns that may be affecting student progress.
Learning is typically the main focus of parent-teacher conferences, but it would not be unusual for your child's teacher to comment on behavioral and social development, peer relationships, motivation, and work habits.
Spring Conferences are scheduled for March 14-18. With the COVID surge behind us, we will be offering in-person conferences, but as the parent, you will have the option to select a virtual or phone conference.

New Student Registration
Do you have a child who will be five before Sept 1, 2022 or turn five between Sept. 2, 2022-February 2, 2023? Or have friends that do? If so, please go online and register at livermoreschools.org for Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten for the 2022/23 School Year.
Students new to Livermore in grades 1-5 should follow the steps outlined on the New Student Enrollment document.
Run Club Volunteers
Parents who want to supervise the runners are encouraged to follow the protocols listed below to volunteer. Help is needed on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Volunteers
- Volunteers must show proof of full vaccination.
- Volunteers must be cleared through our District's online volunteer portal.
- Once your application is cleared by our District's Human Resources Department, there is a mandatory 14-day waiting period for the LPD to process volunteer names. Volunteers cannot participate in school activities until their clearance date.
- Classroom volunteers are limited to a maximum of 2 in a classroom at any given time.
- Masks are required.
- Once you complete the online volunteer portal, our office will review your forms and send them to the Human Resources Department.
- Bring proof of a negative TB test and your COVID-19 Vaccination Record to the office staff.
- Teachers need to create volunteer sign-ups.
- Read and agree to the guidelines from our District's Volunteer Handbook.
Keep in mind that not all teachers need the extra support in their classrooms and those that do will have specific times when the help will be needed. The classroom teachers will communicate this information to you. Please be patient as the teachers work on their schedules.

Universal Free Lunch
"Our Child Nutrition Department is excited to share that all students, regardless of family income, can receive a daily school lunch free of charge for all instructional days in the 2021-22 school year! While a free and reduced lunch application does not apply this year, completing the Alternate Income Form can result in students qualifying for additional benefits such as Pandemic EBT, scholarships for placement exams, and discounted internet service."
