How About These Hawks!!
Thank you to all those who were able to make it to our student-led conferences in October! We had over 98% of our families participate and have had a few more do make up conferences since. This partnership between home and school is invaluable in helping our students not only be successful academically, but to know that they are cared for and have adults on their side. We will have another round of student-led conferences coming up in March, but feel free to reach out to us if you have questions, insights, or any great ideas throughout the year.
As part of that collaboration, we are hoping to get your input in the next couple of weeks using a survey that we put together. In the hopes of getting to know our families and community even better, we're asking our families and caregivers to provide us with information regarding celebrations and traditions that you observe. Teachers have sent home paper copies for our families and caregivers to fill out, but here is a digital copy that you can either:
1. Make a digital copy and fill it out then share with your students teacher via email.
2. Print a copy and fill it out then send it with your student to hand to their teacher.
3. If you have already fill this out and returned, don't worry about this request.
We appreciate you giving us your time and insight!
Please continue to take a look at the information and resources below including the upcoming events and dates for your calendar. Hope to see you soon at our Fall Festival at Hedden tonight from 5:00 to 6:30.
Kind regards,
Don Sims
Principal Hedden Elementary
