Waipipi School 2022
Term 4: Monday 5th December
Our vision: Waipipi Students are successful learners, who communicate
confidently, and interact positively with others.
Skate Disco Lunch
Thank you to all the students who have made this such a fun and rewarding experience. Next year, we will look at two lunchtimes a week.
Year 4-5 Trip to Awhitu Regional Park. A quick summary of the day written by Maddy Guthrie
On Friday 2nd December, the years 4 and 5 children went to the Awhitu Regional Park. When we arrived, we met in our groups and Ranger John was there to take us on a historical tour.
We had to spray the bottom of our shoes to protect the trees in the park. We walked to the cottage and the homestead where the Brook Family first lived. We got to go inside and pretend to be the Brook Family members.
We fed eels cooked sausage meat. It was fun to see them jump out of the water and eat the sausages.
Miss Jennings and Mr Miles set up the slip and slide and we spent at least 30 mins flying down the slide.
We ate bbq hot dogs and then we got some free time to play and explore the beach.
Wow, what a great day!

PTA's quiet space for students
The PTA and helpers for all their hard work to get this space created. (Clearing the site was a big job!) and for putting bark down.
Extra thanks to:
Mark and Clint for collecting and delivering power poles
Fergus Brown for donating the power poles
Place Makers for donating $1000 of materials
Logan Henwood for building the structure
Craig Good for donating labour when concreting the area
