Staying Connected

***Valentine Exchange-Please Read***
After some discussion with the principal at Powder Mill School, we feel we can safely implement the exchange of valentines for in-person students who want to participate. We only ask that the valentines be "quarantined" until Valentine's Day. Thank you for your flexibility as we continue to work on keeping the students safe at school. For virtual families, the teachers will continue with their plans for the class.
Shades of Red Day
Friday, February 12, staff and students are invited to participate in Shades of Red Day by wearing red, pink, maroon, etc. colored clothing at Woodland School in support of spreading kindness and positive vibes. Let's end the week before winter break swathed in warmth, kindness and compassion. Remote families can send a picture to ksaso@stgrsd.org.
Supporting Math at Home
First grade teacher, Francesca Fydenkevez, is looking for family input. She is currently enrolled in the Math Education and Teacher Leadership Master's Program at Mount Holyoke College and is working on her Capstone Project. Mrs. Fydenkevez is looking for some information on how to best support you in helping your child in mathematics at home. If you could please take time to complete this short survey, she would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
