National Health Law Program Policy Fellow (D.C.)
The National Health Law Program is committed to creating health equity — ensuring that everyone has access to the all resources they need to be healthy – and to cultivating an internal environment that empowers an exceptional and diverse staff. They welcome applicants who represent that diversity and who will contribute to our equity journey, including people of color, women, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ individuals.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience in a related field or position. Master’s degree in public health, health policy, public policy or equivalent advanced degree, preferred but not required. (Note: The 2017-2019 policy fellow held a bachelor’s degree, but not a master’s degree.)

Reischauer Policy Research Fellows Program
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, History, East Asian Studies, or a related field
- Interest in the regional issues of East Asia
- Exceptional research, writing, and editing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and familiarly with online academic databases
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Fluency in relevant languages such as Japanese, Korean, or Chinese
APPLICATION PROCESS
Given the annual nature of the program, recruitment usually begins each spring and final decisions are made by mid-summer for the next academic year. Once the application period has been opened, interested candidates should send a resume, cover letter, and a 1,000 word writing sample to the Reischauer Center (reischauer@jhu.edu). Previously submitted papers or reports are acceptable, as well as excerpts of longer works.

The Cox-State Department Diplomacy Seminar
