Grant Gazette

Jeans, NELovesPS T-shirts, and 4:10 club!
I will be at Big Red today at 4:10. If anyone would like to join me, I'd love that! I even have a couple of Buy One, Get One half off coupons!
I have a PK IEP to attend today at 1:00, so I will not be here to assist Roman with recess. I will ask Susie Westscott and Mrs. Anderson's sub to help me there.
I will be back to help with the chihuahua races in the gym to celebrate the conclusion of our fund raiser.
Family Newsletter
I'd like to grow this thing. I figure I can do this in two ways.
1. Ask you to please post the link above to your Seesaw page (feed? story? board? I don't know the official Seesaw lingo yet!) I am tweeting out the link and putting it on our school webpage, but if families see it while surfing Seesaw, they may be even more likely to read it (or read it again!)
2. Enlist your help in getting more info into this newsletter. Anything that's going on in your classroom or coming up in your classroom would be great. Pictures or video would be even greater! You can send this stuff to me ANYTIME, but I know that sometimes we all need a deadline so...
I want "What's Happening" information about from 4th grade by November 30, so I can put it in the December newsletter.
3rd Grade---due January 5th
2nd Grade--due January 31st
1st Grade--due February 28th
K--due March 30
Specials--due April 27th
Again, you can submit news, pictures, video, at ANY time, but I want something from your grade level (or subject area, specialists) in those months above.
Thanks for helping me grow this newsletter and spread the good news about Grant!
APL Skill of the Week--Greeting Students
Greeting students and frequently interacting with them individually helps you create a warmer and friendlier classroom environment. Offering students a handshake, pat on the back, high-five, or other symbol of friendship helps to warm up the climate significantly.
Tweet of the Week!

Also, I'll give bonus points to anyone who can explain the little boy's joke about what the volcano eats. Neither me nor Ellen seem to get it.
