Join us in honoring Sam Kranovich, a 40+year employee at Valley High School and beloved member of the West Des Moines Community.

Sunday, Feb. 12th, 1pm

3650 Woodland Avenue

West Des Moines, IA

The Celebration of Life service will be held in the Bill Coldiron Fieldhouse at Valley High School. This is the main gymnasium at the school. Because we expect a large attendance at this event, please arrive early and follow the parking recommendations listed below.


Doors open at noon.


After the services, guests are invited to join family and friends in the cafeteria for refreshments and to share memories.


Memorial contributions can be made to the Student Scholarship Fund.

Parking Recommendations

We recommend guests park in Valley High School's parking lot in the following order:



  1. West parking lot by Cafe V. Enter through the west doors.
  2. North parking lot by Woodland Ave. Enter through the athletics' entrance or main entrance.
  3. East parking lot by the Staplin Performing Arts Center (PAC). Enter through the PAC doors.
  4. Southeast parking lot by the baseball/softball fields. Enter through the PAC doors.



Guests will be greeted at each entrance and provided directions to the Fieldhouse.
