Principal's Quarterly News Letter to Parents

What a Great First Semester

This first semester has been a wonderful experience! Students worked hard each day doing the best they can. While it is important to focus on our academics and lessons, we also like to have some fun! Students had great times at our football games, the Fall Spooktacular, the Chili Supper fundraiser, the winter concerts for our band and choir, our girls select choir singing at the Capital, along with the student celebration day. We know the second semester will be just as engaging! Parents we appreciate your support through all these events and look forward to our continued partnership in this coming semester.

Great Success at Chili Supper

Adopter's Group has another great fundraiser!

This past November, we had many people attend the Chili Supper and Silent Auction fundraiser for the middle school. Combined efforts from the community partners and the Adopter's committee raised over $3500 dollars on the night. WOW! Thank you! These funds are used to directly support the students and the needs of the middle school. Future projects the committee is currently considering are Fine Arts Center updates/renovations, technology resources, and enhanced security measures, such as video cameras and other hardware needs. All of this is only possible through your support and participation! Thank you.
Big picture

Ms. Ahern receives recognition from We (heart) Teachers award!

Ms. Ahern, teacher on the Pink Team, was nominated and then selected by a committee from Arvest Bank. This recognition came with a $500 check from Arvest Bank to go towards school supplies. Congratulations to Ms. Ahern on this recognition! We also (heart) Ms. Ahern here at the Middle School!
