Mid Week Update

3/30/21

Dear Marysville Families,

Thank you for your patience with all of the messages and process as we prepare to switch to Hybrid instruction (a new combination of in person, distance and online learning).

The new cohorts for Hybrid instruction for Kindergarten and 1st Grade students will begin on this Thursday AM (4/1) and Friday PM (4/2)

The new cohorts for Hybrid instruction for 2nd-5th Grade students will begin on Monday 4/5.

If your student is remaining in Comprehensive Distance Learning this quarter, your teacher will reach out to you by the end of the day Wednesday 3/31 with the new schedule.

For both distance learning and in person instruction, you should already know your teacher and whether you will be in a morning or afternoon cohort.

If you have not yet heard from your teacher please reach out to your current teacher or contact the office!

If your student will be coming back into the building, please update emergency contact information and student dismissal information. It is very important that we are able to reach families quickly in case of any emergency and we can only dismiss K-3 students to parents, siblings or adults listed on the form.

Middle school families - please let us know your preference for Quarter 4 Learning - continue distance learning or supplement the on line learning with some in person instruction in the afternoons. The district sent out an email with a personalized link for each middle school student. It may have ended up in your junk email.

You can still complete that if you find the link or share your thoughts directly with us on this google form.

Again thank you all for your patience and understanding during this additional time of upheaval and change.

New schedules and routines can feel very upsetting at first, but I know that in a couple of weeks we will be back in the swing of this spring.

We are a dedicated and resilient community of learners and educators in whatever format we participate in.

We are Marysville Together.
