Go Fourth!

News & tidbits from 4th Grade at HRRS

January 4, 2016

Welcome back everyone, and an especially warm welcome back to Jasmine Rosas-Gonzales. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! We're praying that the rest of the school year will be as wonderful as it has gone so far.

Today started out slowly, with our 2-hour delayed start. Please be aware that during inclement weather, we will be following the Puyallup School Districts's closures or weather announcements.

Please continue to send your students to school with extra warm clothing for recess time.

Here are some important upcoming dates:

Friday, January 8 ~ Pay to Dress ($2, paid to teacher in morning)

Wednesday, January 13 ~ noon dismissal, Professional Development

Monday, January 18th ~ Martin Luther King's birthday, No School

Wednesday, January 20th 6:30pm ~ State of the School Meeting - for parents

Sunday, January 31- Saturday, February 6 ~ Catholic Schools Week

We started off our morning with a multiplication times test, and some of our fourth graders regressed a bit after the holiday break. :( Please have your student keep practicing with flash cards, quizzing, skip counting, on the computer, etc! It does help and I want all of our students to excel. Thank you.

Take care,

Mrs. Ramos
