District Announcement in regards to Hybrid
October 10, 2020
Dear Richland One Parents,
Richland One is preparing to transition to an opt-in face-to-face hybrid model for students in the Phase-In Model, beginning the week of October 19 with students in pre-kindergarten through grade 2 (one day of face-to-face instruction) and the week of October 26 for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 (two days of face-to-face instruction per week).
In a brief video, Richland One Superintendent Dr. Craig Witherspoon provides an update on the district's Reopening of Schools Plan and explains the opt-in process.

Parents who are ready for their children to return to school under the immediate face-to-face hybrid option are asked to complete a form by October 14. Parents who want to request that their children be withdrawn from the R1 Virtual School Program and return to school for immediate face-to-face instruction also are asked to complete a form by the same date.
To access the forms: www.richlandone.org/restartstrong
NOTE: Parents who would like their children to continue with eLearning do not need to complete a form or take any other action.
Parents will receive additional information from their children’s schools. District updates will be posted at www.richlandone.org/restartstrong.
Sincerely,
SIC Meeting - October 15th
