Our schools are buzzing with exciting activities all year long, and we want you to be part of the fun! If you haven't already, make sure to follow each school on social media. We regularly share fantastic glimpses of the vibrant happenings inside our schools—way more than we can capture here!
Hugh Goodwin Elementary
HG proudly acknowledges the achievement of 15 kindergarteners who surpassed their Accelerated Reader (AR) Reading goals. Students were recognized for their dedication to reading with a school-wide celebration. Congratulations to these outstanding readers for their hard work and commitment to academic success!
Northwest Elementary
Northwest Elementary made history at the inaugural National Elementary Honor Society Induction Ceremony on January 25th. NW is the second elementary school in the state to establish a chapter of an Honor Society! Membership is granted to individuals who demonstrate exceptional scholarship, responsibility, service, and leadership qualities. We are so proud of our Roadrunners!
Yocum
Second-grade students delved into the world of technology and robotics, embarking on a field trip to Antigua's where they had the unique opportunity to witness their robot server in action.
Thank you to Antigua's for graciously hosting our students and providing refreshing drinks and delicious chips and salsa during this educational experience!
Washington Middle
Kudos to our WMS Spelling Bee winners! They are poised and prepared to showcase their spelling prowess at the Union County Spelling Bee on February 8th. Wishing our brilliant spellers the best of luck!
Barton Junior High
Barton Robotics showed out at competition this past month! Both teams are currently ranked #1 and #2 in the state of AR in robot skills! Way to go Robotic Wildkittens!!
