Weekly Reminders May 14-20

Raven Homeschool, Juneau Office

A Note from your Teacher

A big thank you to Gary Thompson, Raven parent, who led us on a float plane field trip this week at the airport. Our office also had a presentation from BookShark curriculum this week. It's a literature-based homeschool program and I was very impressed with their offerings. If you think you might be interested in it, please ask when you come in for your ILP meetings this summer. ~Joan

The forecast looks favorable for the Community Day events at UAS on Saturday. Stop by the Raven table between 11am-2pm at the University. We will have crafts and other fun activities for the kids. I also hope to see many of you at the Alaska Arbor Day tree planting at 1:30pm on Monday at the Juneau Pioneer Home. We will be planting a Prairie Fire Crabapple to beautify their garden. ~Theresa
