Good Morning, Sunshine!
School starts at 8:55 a.m.
The children may arrive and will be supervised by our staff starting at 8:45 a.m.
Let's help our children be successful by using Habit #1, Be Proactive. Here are some ways to help your child start the morning on the right foot. Please read this letter to learn more about our school's arrival and dismissal procedures.
- Go to bed early so you wake up feeling refreshed.
- Waking up can be hard. Give your family enough time to take care of responsibilities and ease into the day.
- Make sure to eat breakfast. Did you know that our students can order breakfast to eat in class?
- Put items out the night before to eliminate the morning rush like clothes and backpacks.
- Be at the bus stop on time. Use the timer on the microwave or phone to signal a 5 minute warning.
- Using music can help motivate children, especially their favorite song.
- Leave your house with enough time to park your car and walk your child to the school.
- If saying good-byes are hard, reassure your child that you will be back later and that they are in good hands with their teacher and friends. You can send in a photo or object to remind them of you and help them get through the day.
My School Bucks
Please register your child with myschoolbucks.com to set up your his/her lunch account. This provides parents the ability to securely pay for meals, monitor student cafeteria purchases and receive email notifications for low account balances.
