Welcome to 8th Grade Science
Mrs. Hartner
Hello parents and students,
Welcome to MJHS 8th grade Science. This year will be my 16th year teaching science and my 6th year teaching in MISD. I grew up in Willis, TX and continued my education at Stephen F. Austin State University where I graduated in 2005 with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in 4-8 science.
I have lived here in Montgomery with my husband, Craig, and our daughter, Caitlin for 14 years and love it. When we aren't at home, you can find us at the softball fields, the dance studio, camping and enjoying the outdoors.
I have a true passion for teaching. I knew from a young age that I would be a teacher when I got older and here I am living the dream! I'm working to change the world though teaching students to be free thinkers and explorers of life.
Google Classroom
Log on to google classroom to view our welcome back PowerPoint. Here, you will find information on expectations and guidelines we will be following this year. We will be utilizing the zoom meetings on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I will have either recorded lessons of information posted on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays to help students understand the lesson.
*We were informed that google classroom works best on Microsoft products like explorer. If you had trouble logging in from apple products like safari, try explorer.*
