Fraud

Fraud: the deliberate deception to secure unfair or unlawful gain. It's when people steal and use your information to cheat you in a sense. Someone using your drivers license, bank account, credit card, or any other personal information is known as fraud. Anyone can be affected. There are many specific types of fraud, but some of the more known ones are phishing (the attempt to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details), smishing (a form of criminal activity using social engineering techniques), Retail (advertising something for sell but don't provide it), and many others. Fraud is something you should work very hard at to avoid. Some of the ways to do that are, avoid giving out personal information to suspicious sights, people, or in response to emails, research any unknown institutions to learn if they're safe or not, learn about fraud to become better at recognizing it and avoiding it.
