Teacher Appreciation Day

National Teacher Appreciation Day is next week! Teachers give us so much. And though we know we can’t ever thank them enough, we can take a moment during National Teacher Day to share our appreciation for the special educators in our lives. Please join me in thanking our teachers for the work they do every day with our students!

Soup for the Soul!

Mrs. Sobusiak & Mrs. Alderfer joined together to make bowls, soup-mates, and soup to raise money for a local homeless shelter! The students used their persuasive writing skills to convince the local GIANT to donate bags and soup containers for the project. Math, Art, Writing, Communication and Collaborative Skills - a great project with many life-lessons for our students and our community.

PTO News

The nominating committee has been working to secure volunteers to serve on the next Executive Board for the Warwick PTO. The nominating committee is happy to share the following slate of nominations which will be finalized at our May meeting.

Please join me in thanking them for their volunteerism to support our school community. I feel very blessed to have worked with such an incredible board for the last two years, and look forward to continuing their great work with our new board.

How Little We Know . . . . . . .

I'm no "tech expert" by any stretch, but I know enough to realize how little I know.

I saw this on Nightly News last night.

I worry it's just the tip of the veritable iceberg of how little we know about this technology we carry around with us all the time. . . . . and some of our children carry around with them too. . . . . .
