"Rise Up: The Art of Protest" - Proyecto musical de 6to grado
Después de analizar y discutir algunas de las imágenes de "Rise Up: The Art of Protest", los estudiantes de las clases de música de sexto grado del Sr. Donlin están creando proyectos utilizando un programa llamado Soundtrap para crear música para acompañar citas de personas que ven como líderes en trabajo de justicia social. Escuche a continuación algunos de los proyectos:

Reunion del PAC el 15 de Octubre a las 9:00AM
Tendremos nuestras reuniones anuales de Título 1 PAC (Comité Asesor de Padres) el jueves 15 de octubre de 2020. La reunión del director será a las 9:00 am y la reunión organizativa seguirá a las 9:30 am. En la reunión del director, la Sra. Delaney revisará el presupuesto de financiación federal del Título 1 de nuestra escuela. En la reunión organizativa votaremos sobre los oficiales del PAC y el presupuesto para el año escolar 2020-2021. Asegúrese de asistir si desea ser considerado para uno de los puestos. Free Flu Shots
The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) is hosting over 50 community flu clinics where Chicago residents can get their annual flu shot at no cost regardless of their immigration status. If you have insurance, please bring a copy of your insurance card. Walk-ins are welcome and the pre-registration page is coming soon to the site linked above.
Resources from Chicago Public Library
Explore CPL's online resources for kids by taking part in monthly Learning Journey activities. Kids and tweens who complete at least 4 activities will be entered to win a special prize! https://www.chipublib.org/learningjourney
Brainfuse provides live online homework help every day from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. (available in English and Spanish). There's also a writing lab where students can submit and receive feedback on essays. Students will need a CPL library card or eCard to access these free online resources.
