iPad Basics Session 1

Come learn how to personalize your new iPad.

We will be covering the following iPad basics:


  • Syncing mail accounts
  • Purchasing and updating apps in the App Store
  • Troubleshooting your iPad
  • Apple ID and security issues
  • Basic gestures that run your iPad
  • Using Apple native Apps for documentation and projects

Come learn how to make your iPad work for you both in the classroom and outside of the classroom. This training is only offered to counselors in January so we hope you can make it. Trainings have been approved by Kevin Mills.

iPad Basics Session 2

In Session 2 we will dig deeper into what the iPad can do for you and your students as a creation tool, communication device, and a documentation tool.

The following topics will be covered, but are not limited to:

  • Accessing your Google Drive.
  • Creating content in Drive and saving content to Drive.
  • Creating videos
  • Annotating documents and images
  • Sharing content with airdrop
  • Our favorite apps *some cost money
