From the Desk of Kathryn Woodson Barr, McAuley's Head of School...
From our "Traditions" Auction to our Commencement ceremony (and everything in between!), springtime at McAuley brings to life the very heart and soul of our community - a chance to honor our unique identity and the amazing young women we educate.
Our annual Auction and Mercy Medal Celebration was a tremendous success, nearly doubling in revenue, with funds directly benefitting our students. Three stellar individuals were honored for their 100 years of service to McAuley, and the $100K scholarship named in their honor is at two-thirds of its goal. Help us meet our target, which will make McAuley a reality for dozens of young women, by donating here. Thank you.
With the Run for Hope (May 16 at 10am), Commencement (May 31 at 2pm) and a host of senior and year-end activities on the horizon, our celebration of all that is McAuley continues. Consider this message your official invitation to join us!
Have a glorious spring,
Kathryn Woodson Barr
Head of School
P.S. 5K Run for Hope
The Jim & Maxine Pouravelis Scholarship Fund was established in December 2006 in memory of Jim & Maxine Pouravelis, two devoted and vibrant members of the CMHS community.
The Scholarship provides financial assistance to young women seeking a McAuley education. To date, 33 deserving McAuley students have been awarded a total of $107,000 to assist in the funding of their schooling.
Your support of this event is life-changing to our young women!
