KMS Lunch Group

Is your student interested in making new friends or building current friendships? Our school counselor, Ms. Jensen, runs lunch groups everyday after students eat. Groups of 4-6 students will meet once a week for around 9 weeks. Activities are decided by the group and can include Art, Legos, Games, etc. If your student is interested, please contact Caitlin Jensen at cbjensen@kunaschools.org.

Mrs. Bennee's and Mr. Martin's Science Classes

The 7th Grade Life Science class used microscopes to observe uni and multicellular organisms, ranging from amoebas and Hydras to Fleas. Everything was in a prepared slide and dead so don't worry about students accidentally bringing any fleas home.

This week in Earth Science, students participated in the Great Chain Race. Teams worked together to build the longest paper chain. They then used the data to practice creating graphs. Creating and analyzing graphs is a critical skill to have in science!
