It's time to say good-bye and embrace new beginnings
Grades K-6 Plan
Thursday June 22
8:00 -11:30 a.m.
Classroom teachers - Introduction to Eureka, the new elementary math program.
Teachers will become familiar with the construction of Eureka, and how it builds lesson by lesson and year by year.
- Grades K-5 - How to implement a Story of Units.
- Grade 6 - An overview of the Story of Ratios.
Art, music, phys. ed, and LMS - Work with program directors
Reading Teachers - work with intervention resources
Speech, OT, SNT - Work with your departments
Psychologists, social workers, counselors - Work with your departments
1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Closing activities with 16-17 school staff.
In this last day in your current school building, you will have time for closing activities and time on your own for year end wrap up.
Friday June 23 (Rescheduled from April 3)
8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Opening activities with new 17-18 schools
This day has been planned by your principal and new school transition team to help you get to know each other, begin to establish your new school culture, and begin work with your new team to plan instruction for the upcoming year.
Monday June 26
8:00 -11:00 a.m.

- Grades K-3 Review Fundations for your grade level
- Grades 4-6 Continue planning instruction using the Ready Gen literacy program
Art, music, phys. ed, and LMS- Work with program directors
Speech, OT, SNT - Work with your departments
Psychologists, social workers, counselors - Work with your departments
12:30 - 3:00 p.m. Continue activities with new 17-18 schools
Teams will have the opportunity to work together to review grade level curriculum for the upcoming school year.Anyone who has identified a need for additional planning or professional development in their area should let the principal of their new school know.
