We hope you have some adventures planned for the summer or at the very least some time to relax! Thank you all for supporting JCIB, the teachers and most importantly your student during the 2021-2022 school year.

On-site final registration, fee/donation payment, schedule pickup, locker assignment and move in dates will be shared later in the summer.

Tuition payment information is only for students who reside outside of the Jefferson County school zone. If you are zoned to attend a Jefferson County school or you work for JefcoEd, you do not pay tuition.

JEFCOED Parents,

We are excited to announce that starting with the 2022-2023 school year our registration process for returning students will become more streamlined! SNAP codes will no longer be necessary or required to register. All registration will be done online through the Powerschool Parent Portal.

If you do not have a Parent Portal account you should have been notified by email last Friday, May 20th, and directions will also be sent with the final report card to be mailed June 1st.

In addition, the JEFCOED technology department staff will visit all of our feeder patterns this summer to provide assistance with account setup/registration.

Returning student registration will start June 1st! You will receive an email reminder and a direct link to the parent portal on June 1st. There will also be directions at the bottom of your student's report card that will be mailed on June 1st.

This work should not dominate a student’s summer vacation, but is intended to keep reading and math skills sharp. With your student, please review the assignments, the expected time to complete them, and create a plan for completion throughout the summer. The old saying, “Failure to plan is a plan for failure” is very true when it comes to work completion, especially over the entire summer break.

Summer Work - Complete the work for the grade you will enter next year, 2022-2023.

You will not know which elective your child will have until schedules are picked right before school begins, so delay purchasing elective supplies until you know for certain. Use the list for the grade your student will enter next year, 2022-2023.

Afterschool clubs are a wonderful opportunity for students to work with students who share an interest and build teamworking skills. Club sponsors will communicate how students sign up once school begins. Parents must pick students up on club days.

Clubs

Students zoned outside of the Jefferson County School District must pay tuition. If you are a JefcoEd employee, you will need to provide proof of employment during on-site registration in July in order for tuition to be waived.

• Tuition in the amount of $2,200 for students transferring from Out-Of-District is due no later than Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

• If tuition is not paid in full by Tuesday, July 26, 2022, the transfer may be denied and your student may not be allowed to attend JCIB for the 2022-2023 school year.

• Payment made after July 26, 2022 will incur a 10% late charge.

• Tuition payments will be made online using the payment instructions below. If you do not have a credit/debit card to make online payment, please contact Melissa Johnson at (205) 379-2109 or Millia McCarty at (205) 379-2108.

• Tuition students will not be able to complete the registration process for the 2022-2023 school year without proof of tuition payment.

• Your child’s enrollment in the program will be finalized when the online registration has been completed, tuition payment has been made, and on-site registration for schedule pickup, class fee collection, and locker assignment has been completed. When this date is set, it will be emailed.

1. Click on “TUITION PAYMENTS/NSF PAYMENTS”

2. Enter your information on the screen as indicated.

3. Under your information, will be a heading titled “TUITION PAYMENTS”

4. Under that title, you will find "JCIB".

5. Click on "JCIB".

6. Proceed to checkout at the bottom of the page.

7. Enter your credit/debit card information.

8. A receipt will be emailed to you. Please retain the receipt for your records.

No Out-Of-District student will be allowed to register for the 2022-2023 school year without proof of payment, so please keep your receipt and bring it to the on-site registration once it is scheduled.
