Look for information in your class Schoology group about the upcoming PTA Reflections Competition. Students who have talent in dance, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts are encouraged to participate. The 2021-2022 theme is “I will change the world by…”

Freshman Students of the Week
Shout-out to our Freshmen Students of the Week! Ionna Chatman comes to us from the Academy for Academics and Arts. In her free time, she likes to draw and spend time with her little sisters who are in elementary school. She is a part of the Visual Arts Magnet and specializes in drawing. After graduating from Lee, she wants to go to college to become a veterinarian and continue to do art on the side. Roderick Lavender comes to us from the Academy for Science and Foreign Language. He enjoys spending time with his little brother in his free time. He is a part of the Lee High School Football team and Lee High Baseball team. After graduating from Lee, he wants to go to college on a football scholarship and eventually become a Black rights activist. Congratulations and thank you for representing our FAMILEE values so well!

Congratulations to all of our Magnet students who participated in District Trumbauer competition this Friday and Saturday! We are so proud of all our students who competed and all who volunteered their time to help with the event!
Congratulations to the entire cast and crew of “Sing Like a Girl” as they were awarded Best in Show and will be progressing on to State Trumbauer! Congratulations to Leeya Shoulders who was awarded All Star Cast!
Shoutout to Mr. Carter, Mr. Comer, Ms. Daniel, Mr. Lee, Mrs. Landy-Lee, Mr. Holder and Mrs. Fields for helping to plan, host, and supervise District Trumbauer!! You all did an amazing job!
