SUPERSTAR APPRECIATION!

We are extending a BIG SUPERSTAR THANK YOU to:

Sara Kroening, Aminta Wu and Gina Misticawi and their committee for all of their efforts with this year’s Reflections. It’s always fun to take in the creativity of our Simpson Superstars.

Megan Bunce and Andrea Dillard, our wonderful Safe Routes to School chairs, who were back at it again this week. Thank you for leading the charge for National Walk to School Day! A huge thank you to our police officers, Safety Patrols, staff, parents and student volunteers who helped make Walk to School Day a great success! We even had Mayor Mike Mason come out to support our community of Simpson walkers. Together We Shine!

Megan Skurski and the Arts in Education volunteers who made possible the amazing opportunity for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students to connect with Max Brallier, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author and creator of The Last Kids on Earth Series. Thank you, Megan and team! Dana Zamuel, thank you for capturing the Superstar moments for our yearbook!

Bookroom Volunteers Needed!

Ms. Armbrister, Ms. Anderson and Ms. Bosak, our instructional coaches, are looking for volunteers to re-shelve sets of reading books that are housed in the bookroom. If you have a flexible schedule and would be available to help on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, please email Brigit Armbrister at brigit_j_armbrister@gwinnett.k12.ga.us to set up times that work best for you! Thank you so much for helping us get books back in the hands of teachers and students!
