Know the Truth
"Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free." John 8:32
A Message from Dr. Marquardt
“You are a letter from Christ...This ‘letter’ is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts.” 2 Cor. 3:3 NLT
Most of us do not go a day or even a few hours without checking texts or email. It’s fast, it’s free (so to speak), and it’s practical. But don’t you just love it when you go to the mailbox, and in the US Mail is a letter from a good friend or a loved one? Doesn’t that make your day? A real letter is special because you know the other person thought about you and went to the trouble to purchase a stamp and handwrite a precious note just for you. That beats an email any day, doesn’t it?
It has been said that sometimes we are the only ‘Bible’ a person will ever read. We are a letter from Christ. When you are sharing your faith via your everyday relationships, always try to go the extra mile with people. Go beyond “fast, free, and practical.” Be more than an email: you are a precious letter from Christ - take the time to let others know how loved and treasured they are to you and to our loving and gracious Lord and Heavenly Father!.
As we quickly approach the upcoming summer, remember to cherish every minute and every encounter with others; as it has been said ‘Share the Gospel message of Jesus every day, and if necessary use words!’ Have a blessed and relaxing summer with family and friends. We look forward to next school year with you here at Red Hill Lutheran.

Classes for babies, toddlers and preschool-aged kids is offered during both worship services by our Nursery Ministry Team in Classroom 11. All children of our RHL families and visitors, six weeks of age through 4 years of age, are invited to attend.
Red Hill Lutheran Church offers a Sunday Morning K.I.D.S. Ministry Program for all children in
Kindergarten through 5th Grade, during our 10:00am worship service. Check-In begins at 9:45am in the K.I.D.S. Zone.
Using a combination of large group and small group conversations and activities, we intentionally strive to create an engaging environment where children come to Know Jesus, Impact the world around them, become Disciples of Jesus, and Serve others - K.I.D.S.! All kids are invited to join us, regardless of church affiliation.
Join us for a fun and inspiring week where we will get READY, get SET, and MOVE
forward on our journey with Jesus! This fun-filled week will help us all learn how God's
Word fits into our everyday lives. With a focus on engaging Bible lessons, outrageous
recreation, yummy snacks, cool crafts, worship and time with our friends – you won’t
want to miss VBS - the Very Best week of Summer!

K.I.D.S. Ministry Teaching Series – HEROIC
A 4-WEEK SERIES FROM THE NEW TESTAMENT on THE EARLY CHURCH
Every kid wishes they had superpowers, but with Jesus, we don’t need x-ray vision or invisibility to be heroes! In this four-week series, kids will hear stories about the heroes of the Early Church — the apostles and disciples who used their unique abilities to spread the good news of Jesus. Through their stories, we’ll see that anyone can do great things for God because God gives everyone a mission, the Holy Spirit gives us power, and we’re heroic when we work as a team!

May 14th: “Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit”
May 21st: "Jesus Goes Up To Heaven"

Middle School Ministry Teaching Series – Reasonable Doubt | On Doubt and Questions
"Have you ever heard someone say something that seemed unreasonable? Maybe they told a story or made a statement that was hard for you to believe. It’s not always easy to ask questions or express doubt when other people seem so certain, and that’s especially true when it comes to faith. If you ask hard questions about God or are honest about the things you’re not sure about, what will people think? Will they judge you? Will they laugh at you? But in this four-week series from the Gospels, we’ll see it really is possible to have questions and doubts while still having faith. Through Scripture, we’ll discover that when we have doubts and questions, we don’t need to ignore them or sweep them under the rug. Instead, we can look to Jesus, look to the Holy Spirit, look to God’s words, and look for God in unexpected places."
Summer Camp
Junior High Camp at Forest Home is THE place for your incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th grade campers to get away from the academic and social pressures and instead focus on their identity in Christ and place in God’s family of believers. During a week of camp running Sunday through Friday, students will discover who God has made them be through teaching from God’s Word, small group discussions, and high-energy worship.
Of course, no summer camp is complete without the fun! Creative games and interactive team challenges ensure there is never a dull moment at Forest Home. Campers have the freedom to explore the many recreation options at Forest Home all week long. (And with a Blob, Zip Line, kayaks, Sky Trail, Olympic-sized pool, GaGa pit, archery, laser tag, and lake, we mean MANY recreation options!) Campers will enjoy living in a community, making new friends, and creating memories that will give them confidence as they navigate the changes and challenges that middle school so often brings.
