Phoenix Times
Rosie Sorrells School of Education and Social Services
Week of August 16, 2020
I hope you and your families are well! We are working diligently to make sure that your student receives excellent instruction and care regardless of the setting--virtually or face-to face. Physically, PPE has arrived and more is arriving daily. Principals are pouring over the details for efficient systems and structures that adhere to the CDC guidelines while simultaneously planning for our teachers' arrival--in person or virtually so that they too are cared for, safe, and have all the tools to provide effective, impactful instruction. Stay tuned.
According to the board meeting, held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 our superintendent is hoping to make a decision later next week regarding virtual or a hybrid model. I know there is quite a bit of communication and that can be overhelming, but these are unusal times and we are attempting to overcommunicate. Thank you for bearing with us. Know that here at Rosie School of Education and Social Services we are here to gladly serve you.
Be safe,
Valarie Kendrick
Principal
