Weekly Update
Holy Trinity Catholic School September 1st, 2022
PRAYER
The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in my life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (adapted from Galatians 5:22-23)
Lord, thank you that You have given us everything we need to succeed in life. Father, fill me and my children with Your Spirit, producing fruit that never spoils. Help us to love unconditionally, be filled with joy overflowing, remain peaceful and patient, be kind to others, walk in goodness, faithfulness and gentleness and maintain self-control. Continue to develop these things in us as we journey through this new year. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
A Note from Mrs. Longden
The first week of school is here. We are so excited to welcome our students into our school. We enter the new year with confidence and hope for a great year.
We have had an amazing first couple days of school. It was so great to see the students back in their classrooms and the teachers doing what they do best. Order and routine were evident as everyone learned the directives of the new year. The atmosphere in the school is joyful and happy as we all are glad to be back in school.
Please continue to pray for our school community. We ask God to keep us flourishing in faith and academics. We are thankful for our enrollment which helps us sustain our wonderful programs. Please pray for the health of all of our students, staff, school families, and volunteers.
We have so many plans and ambitions for 2022-2023. God has made us great. Let us honor our greatness in all we do.
THANK YOU to all who helped make Social Fest a great success! A lot of time and effort was put into the event. Countless hours from the committee and all the volunteers helped to make it the event it was! THANK YOU!
Blessings,
Mrs. Longden

Holy Trinity Families Facebook Page
Attn: New Holy Trinity Families! We invite you to join us in the HTS Families Facebook Group. The goal of the group is to share information, update the community on events and programs, and showcase the achievements of students, teachers, parents, and other community members. It also provides a platform where Holy Trinity School families can share, ask questions, and build community. This will be the space where teachers will post photos of children at school events. You will see more of what is going on in the school community in this group than the main Holy Trinity Facebook page alone. We know that HTS families are driven by Christian values and handle themselves with kindness and respect. Let's use this venue as a great opportunity for sharing, communicating and continuing to build and strengthen our school community. Please use this link to join: www.facebook.com/groups/HTSfamilies Sincerely, Your Home & School and Advancement Committees.
Mass Calendar
Drop Off Procedures
All students will enter the school at the front, main entrance of the building.
Doors will open at 7:15 A.M. Students should be in their classroom when the bell rings at 7:30 for the start of the school day.
You can park in the church parking lot and walk the students to the front, or there will be spots in the front parking lot for parking and dropping off.
If you need to get out of the vehicle to help your child, please park in a spot. If your child(ren) will just be stepping out the vehicle, you can drive through the front parking lot and drop them off. Please keep this quick so as not to back up the line.
Starting next week, we ask that parents drop their child(ren) off at the front door and do not come into the building. This will help with the transition of starting the school day!
Safe Environment Education Training
Promise to Protect, Pledge to Heal
The Archdiocese of Milwaukee is committed to maintaining safe environments for children to learn, pray, and grow. Our Safe Environment Office supports our parishes and schools and maintains the compliance of our archdiocese in our Promise to Protect, Pledge to Heal.
Every priest, deacon, parish or school staff member, teacher and lay minister that is employed by a parish or school and any volunteer working with minors in our archdiocese is required to meet three requirements:
1-Attend a Safe Environment Education Session. This is a child abuse and maltreatment prevention program that must be attended in person. The current curriculum taught in this session is Circle of Care by the Archdiocese of Omaha.
2-Pass a Criminal Background Check. This check is done at the start of employment or beginning volunteering with minors and must be done every five (5) years subsequently. The criminal background check is conducted through the CMG Connect portal. The criminal background check reports are reviewed and certified through the collaboration of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Safe Environment Office and parish/school Safe Environment coordinators.
3-Sign the Code of Ethical Standards for Church Leaders Link to Code of Ethical Standards. This code of conduct provides volunteers and employees with expectations and guidelines for how they interact with and conduct themselves in ministry. This code must be signed prior to beginning volunteering or working in a parish or school and is reviewed every five (5) years subsequently.
As Catholics, we are all tasked with participating in ensuring that every child is able to feel safe in our parishes and schools. In addition to our safe environment requirements for adults, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee requires all parish religious education programs and Catholic schools to provide instruction on personal safety and abuse prevention in age-appropriate lessons for all children in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade enrolled in their programs. Parishes and schools are required to annually report their compliance with this requirement.
We invite you to explore what we are doing at the archdiocesan level, at the parish level, and what we ask of every adult in our parishes to do to help us maintain a Safe Environment to remember our past, protect our present and hope for our future.
