Glover Core Values
The Glover Core Values are alive and well in our school community. Students and staff have been recognized hundreds of times for their personal actions and contributions to our larger community over the last two months. All of the awards are proudly displayed in our main hallway so that recipients can be recognized throughout the year. It is quite an overwhelming and encouraging sight being able to see so many positive elements of our school celebrated in one place.
This month we are highlighting the Core Value of OPTIMISM. This value is particularly important in the long winter months. At Glover, being optimistic is about being full of hope. When we embrace optimism, we remain positive, regardless of the situation and stay committed to our vision. We are full of hope for our own future and for that of our larger community. Our students and staff have many talents and when we work together, we make progress and grow collectively.
GLOVER – Growth Mindset, Leadership, Optimism, Virtuous, Excellence and Resilience
Student Academic Supports
FAST (Falcon Academic Support Team) is offered Tuesday-Thursday each week from 3:35-4:35. During FAST students can receive help from Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. A bus runs to transport FAST students home at 4:45. Students must have a permission slip from a parent to attend FAST and a bus pass, from the FAST teacher, to ride the bus home at 4:45. If you would like to sign your student up for FAST please either call the office or ask your student to bring home a permission slip.
