PE
Thank you to everyone who participated in Reindeer Romp this year and helped make it such a huge success! We appreciate your support for our school!
In P.E. class we are currently doing our basketball unit. Students are practicing their basketball handling and dribbling skills, passing skill, and shooting skills.
Basketball Performance: This an opportunity for 3-5 graders who would like to show their skills! Those that sign up will learn a basketball dribbling and handling routine to music and then perform it at halftime of one of the high school basketball games. Students will practice before and after school to learn the routine. Sign-ups, practice times, and performance date will be coming soon!
Coach Brewer, Coach Nichols, and Coach Dierks thank you!
Music
There are many exciting things happening in the music department! The Second Graders music program, “A Bugz Christmas!” performed last night! Check out some pictures below!
In addition to every grade level singing, playing instruments and learning about "The Nutcracker", there are several performance events coming up!
Next week we will have musicians from Tidwell Middle School on campus to perform.

Thursday 12/17........ORCHESTRA 10:00-11:00

CHOIR performs at a Dallas STARS game next Tuesday, December 15th! Tickets to all who have purchased will be handed to students the day before on Monday 12/14 at school. The Choir members will need to be in their seats at the American Airlines Center by 6:45. The doors open for all at 6:00. Peterson Choir will perform a pre-game song and then a song during an intermission. Students are free to go after they sing.
Please feel free to contact the music teachers with any questions. Have a wonderful holiday break!
