Aesop Subfinder System

Everyone should have received an email from me earlier this week regarding our new Aesop Subfinder System. The email contains the website information, as well as your individual login information. You will also have a computer-generated PIN number which you can change when your first log in. I would recommend that you change it to something that is easy for you to remember.

We will be “going live” with this system beginning Monday, May 11; however, your principals and/or Jill Kempf will still be very involved behind the scenes to make sure that everything is working correctly.

I will be sending out links to two short training videos that you should watch prior to May 11, but the system is very easy to use, and I do not anticipate too many problems. People who have used it in other districts speak very highly of it and are very excited out it.

Please let me know if you have additional questions going forward, and be on the lookout for the training video links.

Aesop Training Videos

Please watch these short videos prior to May 11. Let Mary Turner & Ginger Webb know if you have not yet received your welcome email.

Administrative Code Trainings

Just a reminder that anyone involved with state assessment must attend administrative code training. We have already had the training at the middle school, but other dates are as follows:
Tuesday, May 5 @ 3:15, Woodfill
Wednesday, May 6 @ 3:15, Moyer
Thursday, May 7 @ 3:15, Johnson
If you are unable to attend the training at your home school, you may make arrangements to attend at one of the other locations.

K-PREP Testing Windows

The dates for K-Prep have been set. The window has to be 5 consecutive school days within the last 14 instructional days. They are as follows:
Elementary: May 12, 13, 14, 15, & 18
Middle: May 13, 14, 15, 18, & 20
High: May 21 (On-Demand Writing Only)

Trivia Question of the Week

Kentucky Derby
There has never been a sitting President in attendance at the Derby, but one President was at the Derby just six months before he was elected to the office. Who was it?
The first person to respond with the correct answer will receive some roses and a million dollars.

June PD

Your principals and I will be sending out additional information, but please mark your calendars for June 4 & 5, as most certified staff members will be attending professional development for the 2015-2016 school year on these two days.

Upcoming Dates:

5/11: Board of Education Meeting, 6:30pm at Central Office
5/14: 50/50 Committee Meeting, 3:30pm at Central Office
